Certificate IV and Diploma Certificate,
Practitioner of Hypnosis and Advanced Practitioner of Hypnosis
The Australian Academy of Hypnosis has two different levels of hypnosis training available - Academy issued Practitioner Certificate and Advanced Practitioner Certificate. Neither the Practitioner Certificate nor Advanced Practitioner Certificate is Government Accredited. Contact Rick Collingwood via email hypnot@iprimus.com.au. The Practitioner Certificate is now available through an online course.
Career Accelerators has two levels of hypnosis training available - Government Accredited Cert IV and Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy. Contact Gwen Ford via email cad@acoa.com.au.
Please note that these two organisations work together to bring you the very best of Clinical Hypnosis and Magnetism in its purest form.
The Practitioner Certificate of Hypnosis includes two days of academic and historical training, plus three days of supervised practical hypnosis induction training. Upon completion of the training students must complete five self assessments and a 100 question examination within 31 days of the practical workshop attendance. Completion of this training will give students the ability to safely and competently induce hypnosis and work with issues such as Quitting Smoking, Weight Control, Stress Management, Motivation, Insomnia and Depression. It is a great way to start a new career or to learn a very powerful adjunct to your present practitioner modality. There is also optional one monthly on going training available to students who have completed their training.
The Advanced Practitioner Certificate of Hypnosis requires the completion
of The Practitioner of Hypnosis Certificate. This training follows on from
the Academies Practitioner of Hypnosis Certificate and includes two consecutive
weekends of practical inductions focusing on Rapid Inductions and Trance
Deepening for therapeutic purposes. The two weekends are followed by twelve
on-going monthly training specialty topics.
With the addition of two, distance learning, counseling components the above
training is recognised by The Australian Hypnotherapists Association, and
upon completion of the hypnosis and counseling units students may apply
for associate membership into The Australian Hypnotherapists Association
through the associations’ state representative.
The above training is also recognised by The Professional Hypnotists of Western Australia, and all students who complete The Practitioner Certificate are automatically eligible to join the association. Students also have the added bonus of communicating with other students and hypnotherapists in the Practitioner Forums at the Academies website www.mindmotivations.com which is one of the web's largest hypnosis sites. Upon completion of the Practitioner Certificate students may also enrol in the Practitioner Listings on the site.
Govt Accredited Training
The above hypnosis training modules are components of both a Certificate IV in Clinical Hypnosis and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis with Career Accelerators. After completing the above components students may continue their studies, completing the other necessary and required modules via distance learning to enhance their Academy Certificate to a fully accredited qualification.
If you intend to study all the way up to an accredited Certificate IV or Diploma you can begin immediately and simply attend the practical training when the next convenient course commences. If you want to complete the accredited version of this training please contact the Registered Training Organisation www.acoa.com.au or Gwen Ford via email cad@acoa.com.au and by telephone 1300 13 14 72
