We are so blessed to be introduced to the unbelievable power of your
Hypnotherapy sessions via your "Mind
Body Healing" and " A
Youthful You" CDs.
No one really can understand the power of this until they experience
it. I was diagnosed with end stage renal failure (mostly due to
the side effects of immuno-suppressant drugs from a liver transplant
in 2003) and my health was deteriorating rapidly. Circulation was
so bad I had ulcers that wouldn't heal for over 6 and a half months
and finally had to be skin grafted.
This was to enable me to get on the 5 year waiting list for a kidney
transplant.
My Doctors didn't like the slowness of my healing and my kidneys were
getting worse. I couldn't eat or hold food down for more than 5 minutes.
My best friends told me about the "Mind
Body Healing" CD
and I began to listen to it night after night and then introduced "A
Youthful You" and alternated the two.
All of the sudden my circulation and color started to improve and
all of the doctors that I saw regularly were asking me what I was
doing. My blood tests began to improve and people started to not
believe I still needed a transplant. I took my medicines and followed
the prescribed diet and continued listening to both CDs for over 3-4
months. I couldn't believe how my mental and physical health started
to improve. Friends and family were positively amazed at how much
my total appearance and health had improved!
I received my brother's kidney in September 2007 and healed so rapidly

hi,
i just wanted to say a really big thank you for your cd's as for the first time in 26 years since i started smoking i can honestly say that this is the only thing that looks like it is going to get me off the horrible little things,thank you so much. Anyway my question being that i would like to purchase another two of your cd's which would have me listening to 4 of them. Thank you for the down-load information, I'll keep it in mind. I did purchase your ADD/ADHD for the little girl, and her mother reports that she is sleeping better.
I've also had a very rapid result with a marijuana addict of 26 years. Mark S here asking you for a bit of advice on cd selection and also to say thanks for helping me to overcome the ugly habit of smoking with the use of your STOP SMOKING CD, i have been listening to it for 3 weeks now and cant beleive how it has helped me to give up so easily.
My question that i want to ask you about is ever since i was a child i have had trouble with self esteem and the courage to stand up and say what i beleive in. i suffer from anxiety that gets overwhelming if i have to get up and talk infront of a group of people and such and i have let so many beatiful women slip through my fingers over the years because i am to shy to ask them out.i was wondering if you could advise me on a couple of your cds that would give me the best results for my anxiety and especially my shyness,as i dont want to grow old by myself as i am already 40 years of age.

I couldn't find an answer for this so I thought that I will email
and ask. I am currently on an IVF program and I have been listening
your Stress Management
CD in regular basis before the treatment started.
What I am wondering is that is it safe to listen also after the embryo
transfer when waiting that pregnancy would hopefully start? I was
just wondering if theta rhythms are safe also for the possibly developing
embryo? Or is it better to use another type of relaxation method in
this situation?

I've used your Quit Smoking
CD and I'm happy to report that I haven't

I have a question. I have a friend that has social avoidance disorder,
so he's scared of people and being rejected and being out in public.
Which cd or cd's would you recommend I purchase for him? I was thinking

Please excuse the delay it getting this to you. Not like me but since we spoke life has been very hectic to say the least. We discussed my writing a testimonial with regard to my successful weight loss using Rick's CD.
The light joke is that he is the only man I have been on my bed with in a very long time. (No offence intended). That's because I lie on top of the bed and use the earphones. I find this the most relaxing position.
The history is that before Christmas I lost two kilos then started using the CD and have subsequently lost several more. I have gone from a size 18 down to 14 and have recently tried a size 12 in long pants but not quite ready to introduce that size into my wardrobe permanently just yet,
The best thing about the CD is that it restructures my way of thinking and eating habits. I seem to be more conscious when I go shopping. I am also aware of why 1 eat certain 'unhealthy' foods. These seem to be connected with comfort eating due to loneliness, and mood swings. What the CD does is assists me to 'care for me' rather than 'not care for me'.
1 initial used the program in its entirety as instructed which is a discipline in itself but I was determined. I now use it on a regular basis as old habits die hard; so having the CD handy for moments of encouragement helps me stay on track. I drink more water more often and walk a lot more. I don't drive and walk every where most of the time but I am choosing to walk home more regularly from town rather than catch the cat bus. Any snacks I do have are nuts and dried fruits but not often. Meals are half the amount.
I recommended the CD to my sister who lives in Victoria and she is using it with good results. We both have Thyroid conditions which can make losing weight difficult but the CD seems to work for us.

I was reading your web page and noticed you had done a study on hypnosis
with cancer patients back in 2005. I am wondering if you will be doing
another one, as I would like to be part of a study if you do decide to
do another one.
I was diagnosed with an adrenal and para aortic metastisis in August 2006.
My oncologist gave me 12 to 18 months and said that chemo and radiation
was not beneficial for my cancer and they would only offer palliative
care when the time came. I was to return in 6 months time for a CT scan
to see how far the cancer had spread.
My sister gave me a copy of your Mind
Body Healing tape saying with what I have anything was worth a try,
so I started listening to it when I sleep every night.
When I went back for my 6 month scan I had my oncologist ring me very
excited and wanted to know what I had been doing. He said he was perplexed
because he thought i would be riddled with cancer (due to the aggressive
nature of my particular cancer) but found that the cancer had not spread
at all from its original size and had not spread to any other part of
my body.
I would be interested in knowing the results of the 2005 clinic to see
if anyone else had a similar cancer to mine. Is it possible to know the
cancer patients results?
I am sure your tape is giving me extended time and I thank you for that.

My husband and I are amazed with the results we have seen over the last 60 days by incorporating Rick's CDs into our nightly routine. Dear Mr Collingwood.
I am writing to say thank you for your kind consideration in sending gratis copies of your cancer and mind-body healing cds to me after my recent e-mail to you. I received them a few days ago and have already found the cancer cd useful in helping me relax enough to ignore the spinal tumour pain and get some much needed sleep.
Like many people I slip into sleep while listening but of course sleep is the time when the body can best concentrate on healing itself. I am shortly expecting to undergo an intensive period of radio therapy on my tumour and I am sure that your cds will continue to help me in my recovery.
My doctors are still trying to locate a primary tumour since spinal tumours are normally secondary. However so far nothing has revealed itself, either by scan or blood tests. For now there for I am concentrating on mentally eliminating my tumour (which I have named Adolf Von Tumour).
I'll beat the bugger yet!

Dear dr. Collingwood,
First of all, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude. I have been using the Stress Management Cd for a few months now and haven't been sleeping this well in the past 20 years. In my case I would assume I have a "superactive" mind which wakes me up even at nights, feeling like my thoughts are going 160km/h straight after opening my eyes. This has mainly stopped since starting to use your Cd in regular basis.
Related to this, my father has the same problem, but he has been suffering about insomnia for the past 30 years at least and thus worries many things during nights. The only thing which gives him some relief and sleep is taking sleeping pills. I would like to find a similar type of Cd to him to listen, but in this case I am curious to hear if you know where I should look as my father talks only Finnish and I would assume subliminal messages are in English? This question might sound stupid, but I thought that I will still ask it in case listening the theta rhythm could still help him? Or can you advice any other things he could try?

I need some assistance. I have bought 5 of your C.Ds, they are: Mind Body Healing, Insomnia, Develop Your Psychic Power, Super Memory and Creating Abundance. Is it possible to work with 2 or more of these C.D's at one time. For example, one in the morning and another one at night. How many different C.Ds can the unconscious mind deal with?

I purchased your Ultimate Cycling CD abut a week and a half ago and have listened to it on my ipod when I go to sleep each night. I did 3 rides this past long weekend and every one was great. Someone asked me what I had for breakfast one of the days! Of course, I can't judge by one weekend, but I am impressed so far.
A bigger thing that affects my life is chronic tension headaches, which I have tried everything for with no results. I was wondering if you could recommend one of your CD's to help me stop doing whatever it is I do to myself each night when I sleep that wakes me up with such pain. Perhaps I could alternate that CD with the cycling one. I'd trade a little less cycling performance for a little less headache.

I have been using your mind body healing hypnosis CD for some time and have since bought a couple of other different CDs for friends of mine to whom I have raved about the program.
I was just on your website again (ordering another CD) when I noticed that you have a lot of email testimonials - most of which ask quite relevant questions. Why are the answers to their questions not also available on the website? As a regular user of your hypnosis program, I am reluctant to refer other people to your website where this inconsistency with the information is so apparent.

PS - I tried your free 10 minute on-line trial and nearly fell off my
chair as soon as I heard the pulsing rhythm!!! Its surprising how much
your body responds to the familiar relaxing sounds...
I really don't have much to tell you but thought I'd report in. Got the
CD's on September 23 and started on September 24.
I have been alternating the CD's every night. When our lab decides she
wants out around 1:30AM and I crawl back into bed is when I turn the CD
on which by the way is on my side of the bed. I figure we could both use
it. (My family history - lost my mother and sister to breast cancer)
I gotta tell you, neither one of us have been able to listen to the CD's
all the way through. The Theta waves knock us out quickly! They have really
helped him sleep. He is now getting to the point-the last couple of nights
where he punches me and says, "turn that thing on!" (what a
charmer!)
Tony has had some serious side effects from this last chemo treatment
from 3 weeks ago. He opted to not take another chemo session due this
week until his butt heals. (I didn't want to overkill the description
of his side effects, I think you got the gist of it.)
Also, the last 4 years, I have incorporated Essiac Tea with his regime
and slam his body with immune system builders. Not that I can get him
to take them daily, but I hope anything I can get him to take is better
than nothing.
The oncologist has not scheduled another PET or CAT scan to see how he's
doing. I suspect they will give him another dose or two before that happens.
Anyway...I thought I'd touch base with you and thank again for being so
generous.
I'll keep you posted and keep "turning up like a bad penny"
(if you know that phrase in Australia!)

How are you? I guess that’s a silly question given your experience with hypnotherapy … A friend of mine told me about your program. She chose the one for motivation and has been telling me about how much better she feels. When we were chatting on Monday, she realised that she also hasn't had a headache since she started listening to the CD. With those sorts of results, I decided to try it for myself. I purchased the weight loss mp3 and have used it twice. It may be the weather, but I've already noticed a decline in my appetite levels. I'm having a bit of trouble finding fresh, healthy choices in my fridge, but I shall do a more targeted shop this week.
What I'm really writing to ask is how I should go about using more than one program as I've just purchased the self-esteem and happiness mp3. I believe the weight loss mp3 indicated that I should listen to it once a day for 10 days and then six days a week for the next two weeks. Is it ok to listen to more than one session per day or should I alternate them? If there's a link on the web site explaining the correct process, please send it to me. Otherwise, please email me as I want to make sure my subconscious doesn't get too much of a workout.
I'm also considering buying either the ‘Cancer’ CD or the ‘Mind Body Healing’ CD for my brother-in-law who suffers from both MS and cancer. I just can’t decide which one would be more beneficial. Any advice on that would be great.

Dental Fear Central has received some negative feedback about the dental phobia download from www.hypnosisdownloads.com, so you might want to save your money on that one. Apparently, it's very generalized and does nothing to deal with your specific fears. One hypnosis CD series which has been highly recommended is by Dr. Rick Collingwood, e. g. "Happiness and Self-Esteem". Search for Rick Collingwood on amazon.com, and it'll come up. He's Australian, so if you don't like Ozzie accents, you may be out of luck. ...Rick rang me on my mobile number but I was in meditation at The Relaxation Centre at the time. I would like him to speak to me because I used his mind/body healing CD every night for 6 months and then whenever I couldn't sleep. I have Stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the right upper lung and in two ipsilateral mediastinal lymph nodes and in the bones. My latest PET scan showed the cancer was dead. This remission is almost unheard of and I am sure that the CD had a large input into my positive frame of mind. The late Christopher Reeves''(superman) wife recently died of the same condition as mine.
I belong to a cancer support group at The Relaxation Centre in Fortitude Valley. I am positive Rick should introduce his mind/body healing, meditation and other CDs there.

I've contacted you before with some questions about the CD a while ago and now I've finished my first course. Other than feeling refreshed, I couldn't notice any changes as I was working on it since everything was happening so gradually. But now that I look back, I can definitely see some progress.
I bought my second CD now, in stress management. I've used it for 3 days and I already notice that I feel more calm and refreshed after each session and as the day goes by.
Thanks for the CD's, they are magical! I wish there was one on perfectionism, I would definitely get it next.

I purchased your ultimate cyclist cd last year from josh at liquid fitness and love it. I was wondering if you could recommend one of your cds for my work as an actor? I'm guessing you don't have anything really specific like the cyclist one, but I think if there were something close, it would be fantastic. Maybe something focusing on removing self-doubt, promoting the "I can, "relieving physical tension, and allowing oneself to live in the moment. If you have any suggestions, I would be grateful.

I have done 10 days straight and am almost through another week of your
Pain Free CD. I have multiple
recurring pain associated with Peripheral Neuropathy and related lower
back problems. So far I have not achieved much pain relief but am delighted
to report that a life-long Jumpy Legs Syndrome has disappeared and I am
sleeping like a baby. In the last year or so my Jumpy Legs have progressed
to Jumpy Body Syndrome and I have spent some hours of very many nights
in the back bedroom to allow my wife to get some sleep without being subjected
to my constant movement and occasional violent kicks and elbows.
This really exciting development will keep me going with the CD but I
have a few questions.
How do you deal with the boredom factor of listening to the same message
over many weeks ? About the only time I feel jumpy recently is when I
am listening to the CD and trying to relax.
Do you have a tape or CD that runs for say 10 or 15 minutes that would
maintain my newfound sleep and relaxation pattern.
Do you have patients who find the Pain CD starts to work further down
the track than I have gone so far ?
